WORTH CONSUMING!
There’s not much of a story to Lost Girls and Love Hotels, it’s more about a feeling, a drifting through one’s life. The search for the perfect haze that will let you not feel anything, while simultaneously compelled to feel something over and over again. It’s got a certain Lost in Translation vibe, but I like it more in book form than movie. It’s a fast read, a scramble through a few weeks of a tortured life. It was enjoyable enough, but doesn’t stick with me much.
