I was a bit dissapointed with the ending of this one. It was really an intro to the series and does not stand well on its own. Still and excellent series overall.

A decent book, although very slow going for the first 400 pages or so. Spotty – some storylines, like most of the Orlando portions, held no interest for me, while others – Christabel and the Alice in Wonderland bits were definitely better. Still, it got a little more interesting toward the end, and I’m not averse to continuing the series. Still, I’ll probably knock a few other books off my to-read list first.
