the most entirely all-consuming book i have ever read. the page breaths the musk and dust of the castle onto your face, it eats you alive. i read it in random 3 hour long bursts during the summer, it just smothers you its so lush. it is honestly the most amazing book i have ever read, i dont think i will ever find pages as alive and living as the pages in this book. it has a dark rancid moth-eaten and beating heart, it was a living breathing thing for 3 weeks of hot heady summer.
