This Tamil language movie is the story of an adopted girl who lives in South India. Her mom is from war-torn Sri Lanka. When she’s nine, the girl’s adopted parents tell her that she’s adopted, and the girl wants to go meet her mom, who is part of the Tamil Tigers group (a group currently at war with the Sri Lankan government). I won’t give away the ending, but it was really emotional, and not what you’d expect. Parts of the movie are slow, but the ending was good.
