I’m not a Daredevil fan, so I didn’t know who half these people were, but that wasn’t really a big obstacle, as there was enough exposition to fill in the details. The story of the Kingpin ruining Matt’s life was pretty well done, and I was affected by the scenes of Matt battling with depression and paranoia.
The artwork is typical of the time period, but whatcha gonna do?
The end got… weirdish. I’m not sure why some of the characters that were introduced were. It didn’t ruin the book, but I was left wondering, “why didn’t we just stop sooner?”. Probably because the book was written as issues and the end had to hook in with something. Ah, well.
