feels like the last 2 Modest Mouse albums are bland? I love MM so it’s hard for me to say anything bad about them but, dare I say it…. “did they sell out!?” (GASP!?) I’m I the only one yearning for the raw, chaotic, musical diahrea of the days of yore? I can’t stop listening to there old albums.. but this album is sooo accessible that it just went right through me no digestion needed! Anyway, this is only one girls opinon. I’ll take ANY MM album over the other crap out there any day!!

the song Missed The Boat keeps getting stuck in my head. great lyrics and a catchy beat.

Not only is this the most accessible Modest Mouse album I’ve had the pleasure of consuming, it is also the one that I feel most gets into the essence of Modest Mouse. It’s simply fabulous. And beautiful in a way I wouldn’t expect from Modest Mouse previously.

It’s a change your life album, or close to it.

Excellent album.
