I did enjoy this film, but I was quite disappointed. None of the relationships struck me as in any way real. The protagonist and the friendly prostitute, the overly affectionate relationship between the asylum seeker and her criminal son, the architect and the cleaning lady… none of them felt particularly believable, which I think really let down the rest of the film which was actually quite a good, gripping story.
