WORTH CONSUMING!

It’s been some time since I saw this movie, but it inspired me to find out more about the trade in blood diamonds and it was very eye-opening. The movie itself was really intense and emotional and I think it’s a good starting point to get dialogue rolling about the topic of foreign affairs.

WORTH CONSUMING!

A nice film, covering important subjects in an entertaining but not too Hollywood way. Kind of in the same emotional ball park as The Constant Gardener. Good performances all round. I think Leonardo di Caprio is getting better as he is getting older. I liked the Howard Hughes film he did too. Also this is two Ed Zwick films in a row for me that get the thumbs up, the other being The Last Samurai.

DiCaprio delivers. This film well-deserved its five Academy Award nominations. See it by all means.

WORTH CONSUMING!

If you are halfway aware of world affairs, nothing in this story will suprise you. The movie is relatively predictable and comes out with a Hollywood ending; but none of this takes away from an important story and a well done mainstream film that I would highly recommend.
