Abs! Looky! I found it – and right where you said, organic section of Asda :)

I confess, after years of doubting the existance of veggie ‘wooster’ sauce, I was starting to wonder if sod’s law would kick in and having found it, I would find the stuff disgusting. But it smells interesting – in a good way – so now I’m just looking for the appropriate first taste trial :)

It exists! And I can buy it a five-minute walk from my house! Normal Worcestershire sauce has been verboten to me for many years, as its anchovy ingredients contravene my vegetarian diet. But I recently found out that anchovies aren’t kosher, and as I live in the middle of a big Orthodox Jewish community, one quick trip to the kosher shop and I’m the proud owner of a big bottle of spicy savoury sauciness. Can’t wait for the next cheese on toast, or lentil soup, or cottage pie – it’ll be just like old times. Welcome back, old friend.
