As usual, Alan Dean Foster knows how to write a good book. This novelization pretty much follows the movie, and explains things just a little bit more. In the book, the Allspark is referred to as the Energon Cube (okay, I am not even going to start). There were only a few typos and irritatingly, Scorponok’s mispelled name as Skorponok. The one big thing was how the TFs talked. Big words and they tried their best to sound as non-human and non-biological as they could. You get used to it, though I think some people’s brains won’t be able to take it. Anyway, good novelization. I happened to speed through this one quickly despite it almost being 300 pages.
