WORTH CONSUMING!

Adichie manages to tell the complex story of Biafra in a stunningly simple, understated way . . . no theatrics, no hysteria, and surprisingly little vitrol towards the West . . .

Unforgettable characters, absorbing story lines, profound themes . . . this book has it all.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is surely one of the best books I’ve read in several years. The fact-based story, though it is history now, is being repeated througout Africa every year. The characters are compelling and brilliantly depicted, and the ending, a surprise, is absolutely perfect!
