Highlights on the men’s side were Ancic and Gonzales(!). Fernando played awesome tennis, beating Hewitt, Nadal and Haas to get to the finals and actually had a strategy to dent Federer’s game. He didn’t win, but he didn’t make it easy for Federer either.
