Looking for a great nonfiction book? You will definitely enjoy this if you like Into the Wild, or Into Thin Air, or any of the other popular adventure/outdoor nonfiction accounts. This is part mystery, part nature narrative, with plenty of fascinating tidbits about working as a backcountry ranger and doing search and rescue work. I’d highly recommend it to people that backpack or those who venture out into the wilderness; you can never be too careful…and as Randy would say, “Slow down out there and enjoy it!”
