I am a big Cliff Hardy fan, and have read pretty much every one. This isn’t one of Peter Corris’s most sparkling attempts, but if the standard of most of the others wasn’t so high, I would call it very good. It gave me the impression that it was an effort to get it written, although whether this is true or not, who knows? I still recommend it, but there are other, relatively recent books in the same series, that I have preferred. Lugarno is one of them.
