A story about this — 5 years ago
I’m actually reading the first edition of this book—“A Comprehensive Introduction” rather than “A More Comprehensive Introduction”. When I borrowed it from the library I didn’t think that I would actually find it interesting, but it’s fascinating reading, and so far seems like a good introduction to the basics of the different schools of feminist thought. The only flaw I’d find in the first edition is that Tong didn’t talk about feminism and race or about multicultural feminism. Hopefully that omission is addressed in the More Comprehensive Introduction. That would definitely be a book that I’d buy.
