WORTH CONSUMING!
A little different from the other Vanderhaeghe I read – The Englishman’s Boy. Not so much jumping between times, but still a lot of jumping between character. It worked. Vanderhaeghe has a good ear for different characters, and the story was interesting throughout. I liked the different points of view brought to the main story as well as the little side stories that involved some of the more minor characters. Well done.
