Ender Scott Card is one of my favorite authors. This book is a perfect break from the stress of law school. Actually, this is the second time I’ve read it – I’m just cycling through my favorite books as a break from studying.

Orson Scott Card says this himself in the Afterward: “It’s a different kind of book from Ender’s Shadow. Different need not be better or worse, but I prefer the emphasis on interpersonal relations and the psychology and dynamics of leadership in Ender’s Shadow to the maneuvering of armies to conquer each other.

this was far more about bean than peter, which was sort of disappointing because i want to love peter more than i do. i bet he’s a good guy, really.
