It’s not Henry Miller at full-tilt, starving in the streets of Paris, and, as an introduction to his work, this would suck; but (and it’s a big but) this is Miller looking at his time in Big Sur, his kids, his wife, and one particularly irritating friend. It’s him in conversational mode – and that’s no bad thing.
