WORTH CONSUMING!

I am a fan of well made horror stories, and Edgar Allen Poe’s poems are some of the best written horror stories around. I am a big fan of The Tell-Tale Heart, it is one of the few things that I read in high school that I actually took the time to enjoy. I watched Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho for the first time a few days ago, and my mom and I were talking about well made horror stories, and I brought the subject towards Edgar Allen Poe. We began to search for movies based on Edgar Allen Poe’s work, but only found a handful of films that were universally reviewed as not worth watching.

By chance, I was browsing Ron Gilbert’s Grumpy Gamer site, and he linked to this animated adaptation of The Tell-Tale Heart. This film is absolutely faithful to the poem, and the style of animation is creepy enough to scare you as much as reading the original.
