WORTH CONSUMING!

a very wry portrayal of an archetypal character, it was interesting that whenever they were committing crimes they got the benny hill treatment. i thought it was funny to watch the guys and the girls interact and think that these were our parents. a good gruff, if predictable movie, perhaps because its formula has been so heavily borrowed from.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Take a look at our Chav infested streets, then watch this film,it just looks so quaint.
I’m sure the days of doffing caps were worth rebelling against, and the poverty in all these 60s films goes to show how much we have but perhaps laughing at toffs’ accents and their attempts at good manners, the changing room scene, isn’t as smart today when a bit of courteous behaviour would be welcome.
Fine period piece nevertheless, although didn’t think Tom Courtenay looked very athletic.
