Sometimes you just want to watch a hokey horror flick. The Covenant is the perfect movie to curl up and watch on a rain soaked night with good friends. The plot is uninventive and the special effects are repetitive (who knew that witches fought with energy balls?!?). But all in all, the movie delivers on your expectations: the actors are pretty to look at, there’s just enough gratuitous nudity, and (most of all) the film is mercifully short.

I thought the effects in this were great and of course there was quite a bit of eye candy for the girls, but overall i thought the story was poorly developed and could have been so much more. . .it wasn’t the worst movie i have seen, but it wasnt the greatest either.
