I began this book because it sounded less daunting than Death of a River Guide. He writes descriptively and beautifully. I want to go back to Tasmania before it all disappears on to logging trucks. I’m only about fifty pages in so far.
Upddate: I finished it. It’s amazing and I put it up there with Eucalyptus as one of my favourite, non-crime, Australian books.
