i liked this movie. i like jason statham. i thought it was sexy and fast paced and found him to do the things he does best- action, and fighting. loved the scenes w/amy smart and thought the naked butt motorcycle riding was great!

You can’t really fault a film for being loud, brash and totally OTT – when the whole point is that it’s meant to be loud, brash and VERY totally OTT!!

It just doesn’t let up, and it’s hysterically funny at parts. Like hospital gown butt-flap moments while doing motorbike stunts ;)

The ending is just a little … hmm… though.

Crank is an overblown action movie: gratuitous violence and drug use, sweet stunts, a feeble premise, and a tiny dose of misogyny. Sometimes the camera work and use of graphics (especially in the opening credits) make it feel less like a movie and more like a video game, but the pace never slows down, so you just hold on to your seat and go with it. Jason Statham isn’t a great actor, but he’s got a certain…charisma that makes him immensely watchable. It’s like watching someone play Grand Theft Auto for an hour and a half, only a little more fun.
