Wizard Magazine justv raves about this series so I gave in and decided to check this series out. I am glad I did. True, there are rough patches, but that is about the same with any Pilot on TV, so I overlooked it. This follows the current Blue Beetle series in which the family knows the secret identity so all of those cliches are gone. If only Ultimate Spider-man had done this sooner.
There’s a very unique tone to this series. The art and colring is flat, but for this series, it works.
