Although not half as entertaining as Dick it drew a good few guffaws from me. The characters weren’t the harsher caricatures I was expecting and really it was quite a tame politically-drawn comedy. I was suprised to find that both Hugh Grant and Mandy Moore performed well in their roles but overall it’s unremarkable.

I love hugh grant but so far not enough hugh grant in this movie. basically i feel hugh grant could perform some pretty heinous crimes or break all moral codes, more than the ones that everyone already knows about and i would be able to shrug if off and still want to make out with him on my room mates bed.

I had so much fun watching American Dreamz! The characters were likable and it was hilarious!
I agree with redcleo; that it was funny without being offensive.

This movie was spectacular. Hilarious. You should go see it. I haven’t laughed so hard at a movie in a long time. Great satire of “American Idol” and also of George-Dub, without actually being offensive (at least not to me).

This was one of the most ridiculous movies I have seen in a long time. I wouldn’t say I liked it, but then… I can’t say that I didn’t, either.
