Seriously, I don’t know what Konami was thinking with this one. The songlist is mostly crap, stepcharts for the new licensed songs are lame, and to top it off you have to unlock songs by completing repetitive, stupid tasks in what they call Stellar Master Mode (not even counting the fact that you then have to earn points to buy said unlocked songs). The arcade version is slightly better, but unfortunately Konami never delivered on making the home version linkable with it.
Personally, it’s a nice addition if you really love the DDR series, but I still think DDRMAX and DDRMAX2 are the best to get on the PS2.
