American Pie just keeps on dishing it out. Not since the Porky’s movies has a film franchise milked the “coming of age” theme for so many great gags.

Well, fasten your seat belts once again. You’ll see lots of Girls Gone Wild type footage as coeds and frat rats run The Naked Mile after exams. The film traces the antics of a new breed of Stifler (Erik) from masturbatory homicide and dung-in-the-dryer escapades to mud-midget football and a new use for plastic buckets full of beer. It’s seriously stupid fun for 102 minutes.

Director Joe Nussbaum was fortunate to get Eugene Levy to reprise his original part from the American Pie trilogy. He lends a little (not much) continuity to the series. Check out the outtakes, deleted scenes and other bonus features to learn about cock socks, butt waxing, and launching little people through the air. The cast had far too much fun making this film.

First things first: these spin offs will never be as good as the original American Pie trilogy. That being said, the spin offs, even though they are direct-to-DVD are still pretty good quality movies. They’re smart and funny and even romantic. Band Camp was better, but this one was still better than expected.
