A very short, rather inspirational view of how heaven is first presented to a person. Illustrated the terribleness of war extremely well.

A quick, heartwarming read. It reads more like a parable than a novel, which I wasn’t expecting. Also, I don’t consider myself religious at all so I was a little hesitant to read a book with “heaven” in the title. But it came across as spiritual rather than “religious” or dogmatic in any way, which I appreciated.

I specifically like the reference to the Philippines, a special mention of my beloved country. :)

Have reached the stage where you know U’ve to finish the book, but somehow U don’t want to..
only 20 or so pages more..
Beautiful read.
Simple and sappy. Doesn’t take much to read between the lines and see the underlying messages. The book means well, but it just wasn’t for me.

Interesting idea which, with another writer, would’ve produced vivid, imaginative storytelling. Unfortunately Albom is not up to the task, producing either unsubtle, hit-em-on-the head mottos for living or unwieldy metaphors.

This was okay. Very short and easy read, but I wasn’t all that impressed by it.
