Twelfth Night by Shakespeare — 2 years ago
Once again Shakespeare cradles his socio-political commentaries in the adorable and funny story (although often written in tragic overtones) of a twin brother and sister, the latter of which takes on a male identity in service of a Duke and subsequently falls in love with her master. Shakespeare’s genius hides itself in imagery and language and ultimately creates an intellectually challenging and enjoyable story.
