If I was a writer, I’d rather like to write a book like this. It’s almost as if nothing much happens, but rather the setting is so rich and fantastic you’re more than distracted by the scenery. The characters are great – Gwynn the gunslinger, Raule the doctor. The tale follows the two starting new lives in a very strange city, full of slavers and art and mystery.

This was a good depiction of a world in which the fantastical becomes real. I liked the interactions between the characters, especially Gwynn and the Rev.
