WORTH CONSUMING!
Carries on pretty seamlessly from The Butlerian Jihad, with the added advantage that the semi-forced rush to cram in all the Dune backstory elements has calmed down. Also a bit less ‘bitty’ than the previous book, allowing a few of the characters a little room to grow.
Very much requires the finale from book 3.
