Old Fashioned: The Original Cocktail — 44 weeks ago
WORTH CONSUMING!
A traditional Old Fashioned is made with with 2 oz bourbon, 1 sugar cube, 2 dashes Agnostura bitters, and a splash of soda water, garnished with a lemon wedge and a maraschino cherry. I tried it with bourbon and with rye whiskey, and I definitely preferred it with rye (but I’m not a bourbon fan in general). Not a bad cocktail by any stretch of the imagination, but I’d prefer a plain old whiskey sour.
