Sloooow start, but overall it was okay. Characters did have some depth too. You do figure out from the first few pages who ‘mister right’ will be, nothing surprising there, or in any other part of the storyline actually. I liked that it had an open ending, most chicklit novels do the convenient wrap up, this felt more realistic.

Too trendy and mean-spirited for me. Not my thing.

This book seemed only slightly different in plot and scope from The Devil Wears Prada. Both protagonists are doing jobs they hate with bosses from hell. Couldn’t Weisberger have come up with something slightly different?

I’ve never been so consumed by a book. I could not put it down until it was finished.
