I almost read it. I couldn’t finish “The Girl with the Blackened Eye”. I wanted to, but it was too gruesome.

I was disappointed to find that the stories were not written by Sedaris. None of them really made much sense to me…maybe it’s over my head. I’ll try finishing this another time.

WORTH CONSUMING!
The stories are okay, but not compelling enough as a group to keep me running back to the book, so I’m using it as filler between other books, especially when I know I have a library book ready to pick up, but I don’t want to read an entire other book before doing so.
