I enjoyed reading this book at first, but got bogged down in the dusty dry details. Good information in the first 3/4ths of the book. Last 1/4 was too tough for me to drudge through.

Often good, but perhaps a little overboard in attacking Dems. (Probably because the authors are Dems themselves and are a little defensive about it.)

An extremely thorough analysis of Bush’s techniques for handling the media and how they are derived from those of previous presidents and the PR industry. The sheer quantity of specific acts of deception is also surprising. (8/08/04)
