after 18-hour days as a comedy writer on the david letterman show, rodney rothman is happy to be laid off. [been there rodney, sometimes a layoff is a saviour!] so he decides to go to florida and retire early. he quickly learns the old ‘fellas’ play softball better than him, that he actually likes to play shuffle board, and that you can meet a lot of former teachers playing bingo.
totally worth the read. a great book. a real page turner.
