Not as good as Emergence (Steven Johnson’s other book).

I’d like to take the ‘eyes = mind reading’ test that is described in this book.

I’m going through a ‘brain’ phase.

This book,

“the Man who mistook his wife for a hat”,

“Mind Hacks”,

and

“On Intelligence”

I find the book very readable even though I am not a science person. Learned some interesting facts about the human brain.

This is a book good to read but not worth keeping.

I have the very clear impression that this is “popular science writing for the masses” but it’s honest and investigative and is actually teaching me a lot about the ever fascinating subject of the brain. I’m looking forward to seeing Steven Johnson speak at Amazon.

Really good read… makes for fascinating reading… lots of long-decay ideas, in sbj’s own words…
