WORTH CONSUMING!
This has always been my favorite Narnia book. It has the most interesting story and is the least religious of the entire series.
It is a great book to read aloud, as it is also the best with character development and dialogue. There is a long story narrated within the story, and the young children I’ve read this to have enjoyed it quite a bit.
- Reading it again recently I did find a little problem with racism, where one particular culture is completely “evil” within Narnia. I think talking with young children about this might be important if you’re reading it to them. *
