I agree this album is overproduced, but when forced to listen to Christmas songs every day for the two months leading up to Christmas, it’s nice to have something new and exciting to listen to on Christmas day. I am so sick of ALL the prepackaged crap that the radios, stores, and even the gas station have jammed down my ears.

I could listen to many of these songs without thinking about Christmas. Wonder how many years it’ll be before the stations ruin these.

Thank God I previewed this before acting on my impulse to buy it. This album is incredibly over-produced.

If you can’t make it down to your local Borders, give it a listen on iTunes. Every song sounds the same, almost to the point that the album sounds like one continuous song. There aren’t a lot of tempo changes, and her voice sounds the same throughout – hollow, robotic, and processed.

Stay away from this one! Lots of artists have recorded these same songs, and most of them have done a much better job than this. Get something else.
