Don’t know what it is about DC. I read a relatively simple story by Marvel and I feel dread, tired, dirty.
I read a blood and gore story of monsters and gang warfare (in which I am talking about BM & The Monster Men) and I feel safe, happy, like I’ve read a classic fairy tale. Truly, this is a testament to how good DC is.
This could almost be considered a sequel to Batman: Year One. It takes place in Batman’s second year and the art is so similar, I checked the cover several times to make sure Frank Miller’s hand was not in on this somehow.
Great story. And for once, noone ends a Batman story having learned Bruce Wayne is the BAT!!!
Worth Consuming!
