Not great literature but certainly entertaining. The foreign doctor malapropist with nearly constant English slang, that was a bit much and the plot kind of ran away with the author. Time to read vs. entertainment value makes this one worth reading.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I liked the overall concept and the plot wasn’t bad, but the writing style was a little annoying. I don’t know why, but it bothered me when one of the characters messed up english and had to be corrected all the time and also the main character MJ’s talking bird bothered me. Other than that, cute concept, a girl who can help dead spirits cross over decided to make money by becoming a ghostbuster. It was sort of written in chick-lit fashion.
