this was the first book by philip k. dick i’ve ever read…i’m still not sure what i think of his gritty narrative style…i’m not sure what i think of the story either…it certainly has merit…and by the end of the book, those who have experimented with drugs (particularly heavy drugs) will definitely feel uneasy and perhaps start to question what about their perception has changed since they started to use things to alter their peception

all in all, slow start, but great finale

Wanted to re-read this before seeing the film; was amazed how much better it was than I had remembered. Astonishing book.
