This is an awesome CD. I’ve always liked Jars of Clay throughout the years, but this album has topped them all. They went from playing it safe in their music style to just getting down to the nitty-gritty of it all. I tell people it has a grainy, almost “true rock” sort of feel to it.

Aside from the music itself, I love the lyrics. I like any lyrics that a deeper than your average rhyme, with phrases that grab ahold and make you think.

Love it, love it.

Amazing CD. One of their best. I love Jars of Clay but sometimes it takes a few listens to really love the CD. Not this one. First round through I was in love. Song #7 “Oh My God” had me in tears by the end after the first time hearing it. Stunning.

I really love this album. I love Jars of Clay overall, but this is a great addition to their collection. I still think their debut album is their absolute best, but this is in the top three albums they have released. There are several songs that I enjoy on this… the majority of them. Go out and buy it.
