One of my favourite childhood books. I’ll never forget the journey my teacher took us on by reading this book aloud every day until it was finished (it took about two weeks). In those days (the Seventies) kids had longer attention spans and were encouraged to use their imagination. Aslan is one of my fav male child’s names. I didn’t like the movie so much – the children were too cutesy, but the scenery was fantastic (I’m biased, as it’s filmed in New Zealand).

Just didn’t hold my interest. I guess I’m to old to enjoy such a juvenile book. I should have read it when I was 12 not 37. I imagine though that even at a younger age I wouldn’t have care for it. Just not enough there to get into.

This is probably the book I’ve read the most. I first read it by myself when I was 6 years old and fell in love with it. Of course, I didn’t understand the symbolism in it then, but I loved it just as much as I do today. This book is for anyone and everyone.

A simple and easy read. The story is wonderful, light, but meaningfull. Great for children. Just as good for adults.

Every preteen kid should read this series. I still remember the magic of the Lion the Witch & the Wardrobe…

I have such amazing memories of this book from my childhood. I loved it! And, now they are making a movie, which, I have to say, looks like it’s going to be amazing. (And I am not a person who likes to see her favorite books translated to the big screen.)

Audiobook. It’s been too long since I’ve read classic books. Preparing for the movie version by re-reading the series.
