WORTH CONSUMING!

Best tango movie period! The drama reflects common themes in tango lyrics. Dance numbers highlight episodes in Argentine history, from the immigration waves to the brutal repression of military dictatorship. Themes of exile and the preference to forget the period of the disappeared (best to forget that rather than face it). This film is all about tango.
