hate the title, LOVE the book. i always tried to the hide the cover when i was reading this at school or something because i just think the title makes it sound like some pre-teen “fairy’s whsper in my ear and help me through middle school problems” type book, and it’s not that at all

Barbie, a young girl, has a mother hell bent on Barbie being a model. Barbie doesn’t have much interest in it and a fairy named Mab helps her cope with her mother and the bad things that happen. Heartbreaking.
