Not a likable character in the whole movie, from the girl who betrays her closest friend for the sake of popularity (and even after she “fixes things up” still casts longing gazes toward the cool crowd) to the best friend who allows her dog to service her (yes,THAT way) to the distant mother, hypochondriac brother and the drug-addled love interest. I understand you don’t want your characters, even the protagonist, to be perfect…it isn’t “real” if that’s the case..but I couldn’t find ANYONE worth rooting for here. Skip this one…there are better indie flicks to be had.
