WORTH CONSUMING!
I think my friend summed up Ernest Hemingway stories perfectly. Neither of us like his writing style at all and I’m not quite sure why he won a Nobel Prize in Literature but nonetheless his stories are insightful and interesting. What my friend said about The Old Man in the Sea I believe applies to this: It was a very insightful story and would have been great if anyone but Hemingway had written it.
I didn’t like it much but it certainly wasn’t a waste of time.
