The illustrations in this book are so amazing. Even though I’ve always been a really scared person (especially as a kid), when I first saw this book around the age of 8 or 9, I toughed it out through the terrifying parts and admired the drawings so much. These books are what inspired me to want to become an artist.

I remember in how popular these books were in elementary school, and how most of the time they’d be checked out. I still remember some of the stories!
