NOT WORTH CONSUMING

At the heart of this novel is deep seated arrogance in its construction. This reader is not offended by sexual arrogance and depravity that comes with free will but is offended by the disjointed and seemingly random plot jumps with no seeming point to the main character’s acts of depravity. The only redeeming quality of the central character is a coming to terms with his brother’s death in war. This is the one bright spot in between act after act of self-indulgence and self pity. Additionally, there is little to no use of the comic hilarity as employed by John Kennedy Toole in “The Confederacy of Dunces.” I cannot recommend this book for its pointless and ultimately arrogant nature.

Simply too vulgar. Too much senior-citizen oral sex, too many bodily fluids going down unnatural orifices. On and on and on.
